Hi, I'm Kate, and I started SHED Hair Company with a simple mission -
Good Hair, Good People, Good to the Planet.
We've intentionally chosen brands to work with that are both kind to people and planet. Davines, our primary supplier is a BCorp certified, family owned and operated business, who's products create beautiful results, with minimal damage to the hair, and our enviroment.
You'll often hear me say I do my job because I love people. Hearing your stories, sharing wisdom and laughter, and helping you live authentically, is what really sets my soul alight. I don't call myself a specialiist, but creating bespoke colour looks that feel truly tailor made, day in day out is what gets me out of bed in the morning. I'm an open book, so come as you are, and we can get to know each other, and transform your hair at the same time.

A late career change after a life in hopsitality and fashion retail, I qualified as a hairdresser in 2024.
I absolutely love cutting hair! It's creative, therapeutic, and I enjoy the conversations but most of all I love how it can make you feel so much better, both of us!
My journey just kind of happens. I have never really planned anything, but I live my life with a positive outlook and an open mind ready to explore what comes my way.

Hi, I’m Katie. I’ve been a hairstylist for over 10 years and truly love all aspects of hairdressing. I’m especially passionate about getting creative with bold, fun colours and creating looks that help my clients feel confident and unique. Whether it’s a subtle refresh or a complete transformation.
For me, hairdressing isn’t just about the hair — it’s about the people. I love building relationships with my clients and making every appointment a positive experience.

Hi, I’m Lauren!
I’ve been a hairdresser since leaving school, and throughout my career I’ve always had a special love for bridal and event styling. I’m so excited to now be at a stage where I can truly put that passion front and centre of what I do.
Having been a bride myself, I understand just how important it is to feel calm, confident, and completely looked after — and exactly what you need from your bridal stylist on the day.
